Event Details

ACEC Nebraska wants to offer a Leadership Development session focusing on conflict and change management to all graduates of the ACEC NE ELP Program. The session will be led by Tony Comella and will feature:

  • a self-assessment that will give you feedback on your conflict behaviors; and
  • a change simulation designed to help guide you and your direct reports through the change transition.

The learning objectives include:

  • Understand how your perceived conflict behavior can lead to positive cognitive change or negative emotional change.
  • Discuss your conflict impacts and gain feedback on how to manage those impacts.
  • Learn how to be successful in helping people manage both the change and the transition period.
  • Simulate the implementation of an organizational change and work with your peer group to both gain feedback AND to create a more successful plan.
  • Create an action plan to become more effective in BOTH conflict and change behaviors.
