Event Details

The ACEC NE Small Firms Committee is inviting you to learn more about two crucial aspects of tax planning: Research & Development (R&D) tax credits and IRC Section 174 capitalization. This presentation will provide an overview of the R&D tax credit, including its purpose, eligibility criteria, and the potential benefits it offers to businesses, along with the implications of IRC Section 174 capitalization. We will also touch on why ACEC is working on tax legislation regarding the current treatment of these deductions. Although this presentation is focused on how small firms may benefit from this program, it will provide a good basic overview of R&D Tax Credits and capitalization requirements to those who are interested in learning more about this important ACEC lobbying effort.

This session is presented by Frankel LLC. ACEC NE is honored to have Frankel as an Affiliate Member. https://frankel.cpa/
